“Tesla continues to lead, claiming the top four spots and showcasing its commitment to domestic production,” said Patrick Masterson, lead researcher for the program.

US Government Simplifies the Path for Robotaxi
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is looking to relax some rules and simplify the application process for companies developing and licensing autonomous vehicles. This is great news for Tesla, which is preparing to launch Robotaxi.
While operating permits are typically issued by local jurisdictions, NHTSA still has the final say. The new strategy will allow companies to obtain exemptions from federal safety standards and streamline the entire application process.
Tesla Is Preparing a Six-Seat Model Y
Tesla has previously hinted at a seven-seat configuration for the current Model Y, and now hints have emerged of a six-seat variant. Tesla hacker greentheonly/X has discovered information in Tesla firmware indicating that the six-seat variant will be available for purchase not only in China but also outside of it.
