Tesla is making further progress in its Full Self-Driving (FSD) program, celebrating the first self-delivery of a car from the production line to a customer; the Supercharger network is growing at an impressive rate, and the company is reporting Q2 2025 deliveries. That and more in today's roundup with Jowua.

Tesla Cars Deliver Themselves to Customers

Tesla has reached a major milestone: a car from the production line delivered itself to a customer. The company released a video showing the details to the public. It was reported that during the self-delivery, the car reached speeds of up to 72 mph, and was driven on public roads. Elon Musk also said that there was no person inside the car to monitor the process.

“There were no people in the car at all and no remote operators in control at any point. FULLY autonomous! To the best of our knowledge, this is the first fully autonomous drive with no people in the car or remotely operating the car on a public highway,” he wrote on X.

Tesla Launches V4 Superchargers in China

The company has officially launched the first V4 Supercharger stations in China. The initial rollout took place in key locations in Shanghai, Chongqing, Gansu, and Zhejiang provinces. Further rollouts are planned for Beijing, Guangdong, and other regions. V4 Superchargers are available to all EV owners, regardless of manufacturer.

Tesla Prepares for FSD (Supervised) Launch in Europe

The company recently updated its website to include information about the upcoming launch of Full Self-Driving (Supervised). This follows indications that Tesla could begin rolling out FSD in Germany, the Netherlands, and Norway before the end of 2025. It is worth noting that at this point, the company has not yet received official approvals to launch the technology.

Q2 2025 Delivery Report

Tesla has reported its Q2 2025 deliveries. Tesla delivered 384,122 units, down 14 percent year-on-year. However, the manufacturer produced 410,244 vehicles in the quarter, just slightly down from the 410,831 it produced a year earlier.

Tesla will post its financial results for the second quarter of 2025 after the market closes on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Tesla Celebrates 70,000 Supercharger Stalls Globally

The automaker is celebrating another milestone: the installation of its 70,000th Supercharger stall. It was achieved with the installation of a 12-stall V3 Supercharger in Burleson, Texas. The achievement underscored the company’s rapid installation rate of charging stations. Tesla has added 10,000 new stalls in just nine months since it celebrated the installation of its 60,000th stall in October 2024.
