Firmware Upgrade via Wi-Fi (Prior to v9.0.5)
- 1. Download the firmware file to your phone. *Please open and download this using a standard web browser.
- 2. Open your phone's Wi-Fi settings, connect to JOWUA-CEABXXXXXX, and enter password: 12345678.
- 3. Open your mobile browser and enter the IP address: 192.168.4.1/update.
- 4. Tap "Firmware to be upgraded" > choose the downloaded file (RVD-ICD-WIFI2-9.1.2.rimg).
- 5. Tap "Start Upgrade" and confirm.
- 6. Wait for the upgrade to progress; a notification will pop up once the installation is successful.
- 7. After updating, unplug and re-plug the charger plug to reboot hardware.
- 8. Reload 192.168.4.1/update to confirm the firmware version updated to 9.1.2.
How to Connect to the Charger?
- 1. In the Jowua App, select "Add Portable Charger", connect to the charger's host Wi-Fi, enter password: 12345678, and tap Next.
- 2. Select your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your password. Once connected, return to the app.
- 3. Tap the charger icon on the app home screen to enter the control panel.
Firmware Upgrade via App (v9.0.5 and later)
- In the top right corner of the charger interface in the app, tap Settings > Firmware Upgrade. Follow the on-screen prompts to update to the latest version.
How to Schedule Charging?
- 1. In the charger control panel, select "Time-of-Use" mode.
- 2. Set your peak / off-peak hour ranges as per your utility plan, and tap "Schedule Charging".
- 3. Once scheduled charging completes, please unplug and re-plug the charger connector.
Where to View Charging History?
- Access settings in the top right corner of the main dashboard, then select "Charging History" to view previous records.
