Note: The inflated item is a 235/40 R19 car tire, inflated from 38 to 42 psi pressure approximately 55s.

During the inflation process, high pressure operation may cause physical heating. Please do not use it continuously for more

Electric Vehicles VS Traditional Car Tire
The maximum pressure for regular tire is the minimum for EVs
Electric vehicles are heavier than traditional vehicles due to their batteries and reinforced body structure. EVs require relatively high tire pressure to bear the weight. Take most of the Tesla models as example, the required tire pressure standard is 42psi/2.9bar, which is much higher than the traditional tire standard of 36psi/2.5bar.

I bought one and wasn’t sure I really needed it or that I would find it robust enough for the financial commitment. I was wrong, it is really good, currently storing my EV charger before installing. Just to say I didn’t realise it had drop down sides and a nice smart lid with locking sides, which is a great strength of this box. Looking forward to many years of its use.
